Restart your underwater adventures again with a Scuba Diver Refresher Course! Come back and dive in. That lifetime of fun, adventure, memories, experiences, and friends is still waiting for you!

WHAT exactly is a refresh?

The Refresh is the perfect opportunity to update your dive skills and knowledge from the PADI Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water. The chance to brush up on techniques and reacquaint yourself, or become familiar with the latest dive equipment. When you complete your class you will once again be free to explore and discover the many wonders of the underwater world.

WHAT will i learn?

Our Refresh Course is personalized for you. Whether you want a few reminders and need to go over basics skills, or need a more in-depth refresh of all 24 of the PADI skills. During Refresh you will spend time with the instructor going over the skills just as you did in your initial Open Water Certification training. Not only will you refresh your skills in a pool, but you will actually complete an open water dive with an instructor to ensure you feel comfortable and ready for your scuba diving adventures. Though your PADI certification never expires, it is highly recommended to refresh your foundational scuba safety knowledge and skills if you haven’t been diving in a while.

WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL BE USED?

During you Refresh course, you will be using basic and your own personal scuba equipment, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device (BC) and a scuba cylinder. While training, The Dive Place will provide the basic scuba equipment, regulator, octo/alternate air source, buoyancy control device (BC), tank and use of a wetsuit. Students are requested to purchase or provide their own personal equipment such as mask, snorkel, fins, boots and weights.

WHAT is INCLUDED IN THE Refresh Course?

Included in your Refresh Course are selected study materials, a academic knowledge review and in-water pool skill development with a PADI Instructor. In addition, there is also an open water dive to make use of the skills you re-learned during your pool session.
